Car birth Video

It was several months ago when I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole’s birth. Their sweet little girl came so fast that she was born in the passenger seat of their Kia Soul. She asked that I get a video of the actual birth for them to treasure always. Here is the video of their family meeting Kalina for the first time, a birth I will never forget. Every birth is so unique! As a local birth photographer, I make a commitment to be ready and available to my birth clients from 37 weeks gestation on. That means that I am always carrying around my camera bag, have an escape plan (in case I get stuck somewhere), have babysitting planned out, and am available to leave as soon as active labor is imminent. For Nicole’s birth, I trusted my gut and headed on the road at 4 am just to miss the morning rush hour and I am so glad I did! I was able to beat them to the birth center, get these amazing shots and experience first hand the power of birth.

Photography and videography for births is truly a passion of mine. I also love seeing these sweet babies as they grow with their families.
